The 6th Annual Pacific Coast Undergraduate Mathematics Conference will be held on
Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Loyola Marymount University.
PCUMC is designed specifically for undergraduate students who are majoring or have an interest in mathematics. The 2011 conference will feature free registration for all participants, talks by undergraduate students, a morning address, "Using Math to Fight Terrorism," by Susan E. Martonosi and a panel discussion on career opportunities in mathematics.
We are excited to announce that our keynote speaker for 2011 is Sir Randolph Bacon III, cousin-in-law to Colin Adams of Williams College, who will teach us "Blown Away: What Knot To Do When Sailing"!!
